Dr. Meghan Waldron brings a wealth of experience from both K-12 and higher education to inform her insights on current educational trends and challenges. With a background in English, Journalism, and Educational Leadership, she offers a unique perspective on student success, personal writing, and navigating the changing landscape of education. 

Waldron founded Smart Solutions Tutoring in 2007, and for nearly two decades this Richmond-based small business has helped thousands of students develop their writing abilities and achieve academic success. She also works at a local university serving as a Pre-Professional Health Senior Academic Advisor and adjunct professor.

Waldron champions authentic living and strategic risk-taking by actively fostering an environment where her students and staff are encouraged to innovate, collaborate, and push the boundaries of conventional learning.

Despite a long-standing battle with Multiple Sclerosis, Waldron refuses to let the condition hinder her aspirations or cloud her "why." Driven by a deep commitment to her family and her community, she aims to lead by example by encouraging other women to do the same.

She believes there is always an opportunity to grow, and there is always an opportunity to learn– the best way to do both is with a positive outlook and a strong support system. Waldron is thrilled to bring Women in Change to the United States offering opportunities for collaboration, growth, and creativity.
